This was book was completely awful but absolutely hilarious! I give it 3 stars because according to Goodreads this means "liked it" and the only reason I liked it was because I knew it was just going to be (unintentionally) hilarious. Now if I were rating this based on the writing it would have to be one star.Not only is this about angels, but it is also about them being viking vampire angels! But that's not all, they can time travel(this wasn't a big part of the story but still, time traveling viking vampire angels!).
This one was pretty good. It did drag a little bit at times and I am absolutely confused by the ending. I kind of get what happened in the end but at the same time I am just so confused!
I found the beginning of this to be much more interesting than the second half. Her love interest Jeb was pretty annoying all the times that he was around. He was like many of the love interests in YA, trying to be controlling of the girl. (He even somehow had a say in whether Alyssa was able to study abroad her senior year, when it really should have just been her dad's decision. He also was dating the girl who pretty much terrorized Alyssa while growing up and Alyssa is supposedly his best friend. I just didn't get it.) The second half when they were in Wonderland, I found to be pretty dull and I found myself skimming sections. I think if Alyssa had gone on her adventure to set things right for her family alone, without Jeb, it might have been better.
